Local moves for Estero homes, from gated golf communities to new builds. Call (239) 297-4809 for a free in-home estimate.
Great Moving and Packing has been moving Estero families since 2017. Marshall Rapp owns the company, does your estimate himself and is on the job when we move you.
A lot of Estero living happens behind a guard gate. In The Reserve at Estero and other gated communities, trucks get checked in at the gate, so we get your gate instructions ahead of time and the crew is cleared when it rolls up. The same goes for gated single-family neighborhoods like Diamond Oaks, Bella Terra and Rookery Pointe.
Moving into a fresh build, like a home in Corkscrew Shores, usually means working around a closing date. We plan the move-in day with you so the truck shows up when the keys do.
Buildings such as the Ritz-Carlton Residences at Estero Bay and Murano Del Lago run on elevator reservations and their own move rules, so ask your building what it requires. Building requirements are covered on our condo and apartment moves page.
Around Coconut Point, including American House senior living, we plan the truck's parking and arrival time with you ahead of time.
These have shared driveways and close neighbors, so we park and stage the truck to keep the street open.
Old sofa didn't make the cut for the new place? We can take it away on moving day, or come out for a removal job on its own. It's paid haul-away, and the disposal cost is included on your final invoice. Details are on our furniture haul-away in Estero page. Haul-away covers furniture and regular household items only; no paint, fuel, propane, all batteries, or chemicals.
We provide the full suite of services for Estero homes, condos, and apartments. Many customers combine packing with haul-away when they’re downsizing or clearing a place before the move.
Professional packing and unpacking for Estero moves. We pack what you want handled and leave the rest to you.
Labor-only loading of a rental truck or container you provide. We load in Southwest Florida. You drive, or the container company hauls. We do not haul interstate.
Paid junk-out and furniture removal for Estero properties, including office cleanouts (desks, file cabinets, and office furniture — we remove them and haul them away for disposal).
Careful furniture delivery to Estero addresses, including homes and buildings with tight access.
Assembly for new purchases delivered to Estero homes, condos, and apartments. Furniture disassembly and reassembly is included on local moves.
Patient support for downsizing and moves into senior living — one step at a time, with Marshall on the estimate.
Moves in and out of Estero condo and apartment buildings. Ask your building what it requires (timing, elevator, paperwork) and send us the details; we plan the day around it.
Marshall comes to the house, walks through it with you, and writes up the estimate. The in-home estimate is free, written and itemized. What changes the number: how much is going, how much packing you want from us, and access at either end, like gates, stairs, elevators or a long walk from the truck. A fuel fee may apply depending on distance. We move Monday through Friday, 8 to 5. No weekend moves.
Yes. Send us the gate or guardhouse contact, or add us to your visitor list, before moving day. The crew gives your name at the gate and goes straight to work.
Yes, as long as you have the keys and the builder is OK with you moving in. Let us know your closing date early so we can hold that day for you.
